Checking your balance

To check your Pay & Go balance, you have several options: 


  • Press Hotkey 2 on your mobile phone
  • Key *#10# then press the call button to see your calltime balance on your display
  • Dial 4444 for free from your mobile to hear your balance and to top-up


Remember: you need at least one minute of calltime credit to make a call. When your calltime falls below this point, you'll receive messages reminding you that you are nearly out of credit. Eventually, you will be diverted to the O2 Top-Up Line.


Changing tariffs & adding Bolt Ons
You can change between Pay & Go Go Go and other O2 tariffs as often as you like by:


  • Texting your new tariff keyword for free to 21300
  • Calling 2202 for free from your mobile
  • Visiting My O2


You can change between the £10 and £20 Pay & Go Go Go tariffs in the same way, although you must wait until your anniversary date.
When changing tariffs, remember:


  • Changing tariffs could affect your movement through the different levels of allowance
  • If you’ve been with us for less than three months, you’ll get the allowances we give people for the first three months
  • If you’ve been with us for longer, your allowance will be doubled
  • If you’re on our best-value tariff (after nine months) and you decide to move to another Pay & Go tariff, you won’t be able to come back to it. Instead, we’ll put you on the double allowance (three months)
