Upgrading your Pay Monthly mobile

You can upgrade your Pay Monthly phone online in a few clicks. To check whether you’re in line for an upgrade, you’ll need to sign in here


Keeping your handset

If you’re happy with your current handset, there’s the option to switch to one of our Simplicity tariffs.


Or, you could get credit added to your bill for closing your contract without choosing a new phone.


When to upgrade

If you took out your contract on or after 30th March 2012, you could get an early upgrade three or six months before your contract is due to end. All you have to do is switch to a tariff that costs as much (or more) as your current one.


Upgrading with O2

To upgrade, you can:


  • Sign in to My O2 and choose a handset
  • Call us free from your mobile on 202
  • Call us from a landline on 0844 809 0202 (standard rates apply)
